English: Shrub with sometimes weak stems to 1.5 m tall. Leaves are velvety cordate, ovate to lanceolate, 2–8 cm long and not lobed. Flowers are axillary and solitary. Sepals 5 and 3–5 mm long. Petals 5, yellow and 5–8 mm long. Fruit are 7–8 mm wide and green with 8-12 awned mericarps. Flowers in summer and autumn. Grows on rocky hill slopes, often on creek banks and sometimes in rainforest.
