A google search for "orange fuzzy flowers" turned up a fuzzy flower hair pin on Etsy, but thankfully, one of the images had the name of this flower included in the image - Leonotis Leonurus. It's also called Wild Dagga or Lion's Tail. I thought it was just a cool looking flower, but according to Wikipedia, Wild Dagga has some recreational uses as well. Turns out you can smoke it or use it to make a tea that induces a deep meditative sleep. Hmmm.... time to visit the neighbor's yard again. :) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonotis_leonurus |
