Fundulus chrysotus (Günther, 1866)

  • Syntypes: Liverpool Free Public Museum (whereabouts unknown); Holbrook specimens are MCZ 1404 (8) and USNM 120410 [ex MCZ 1404] (1). Fundulus chrysotus Holbrook and Zygonectes chrysotus Agassiz are manuscript names mentioned by Putnam 1863:14; neither is available, no description.
  • Type locality: Charleston, South Carolina, U.S.A.
