Name[edit]

  • Pseudanthias heemstrai Schuhmacher, Krupp & Randall, 1989

Holotype: SMF 23176. Paratypes: BMNH 1989.10.11.1 (1); BPBM 28867 (8); SMF 23177 (5).

Type locality: Red Sea, Jordan, 12 kilometers south of Aqaba, in front of Marine Science Station, 29°45'N, 34°58'E, depth 20 meters.
