• Typus: Chile. Provincia de Malleco, Parque Nacional Nahuelbuta, sector Piedra del Aquilla, 37°42'S, 72°59'W, 800 m, at the edge of a small stream, in the water, 8 Feb 1991, M. DeVore 1590 & M. Baeza (Holotypus: MU; isotypi: CONC, F, OSH).
