Lecane insulaconae Fontaneto, Segers & Melone, 2008

  • Type locality: Open sea part of outlet of the Isonzo River, sandy bottom, -0.5 m, Foce dell’Isonzo Natural Park at Isola della Cona, Staranzano, GO, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Northern Italy, coordinates 45°43'47.4"N 13°32'19.4"E.
  • Etymology: This species is named after its type locality, the Natural Park Isola della Cona.
