possible non-existence of the lectotype at CAL
[edit]As confirmed with the official type list, CAL holds 5 types of this species, but all have dates other than the lectotypified one, i.e. 4 March 1893:
- 28 February 1891: CAL0000024288 (94929), CAL0000024289 (94928) & CAL0000024292 (94930)
- 25 April 1891: CAL0000024290 (94932) & CAL0000024291 (94931). I am afraid it may be a case similar to that of Arachnothryx chimalaparum, resulting from authors' lack of sufficient verification of whether type specimens are really located there. --Eryk Kij (talk) 06:29, 9 December 2023 (UTC)
