"Cosmopolitan Taxa" category[edit]
@Andyboorman: and others: This page is currently a member of Category:Cosmopolitan Taxa, although not all taxa in the genus have a true cosmopolitan distribution. For instance Myriophyllum matogrossense, which as far as I know is only present in South America. Any views on the matter? –Tommy Kronkvist (talk), 10:47, 28 June 2016 (UTC).
- Can a genus be cosmopolitan in spite of its species being more locally distributed? If not then the category needs getting rid of. Andyboorman (talk) 15:48, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
