This genus is morphologically characteristic with the rest of its relatives. Rostrum is long, curved and smooth in female, whereas in male it is short, stout and rough (Sexual diamorphism exist). Antenna composed of 11 segments with basal scape, seven funicles and three club shaped terminal segments. Scorbes are present but faded away towards the tip. The labrum and the clypeolabral sutures are indistinct. Labium has a prementum, which is pedunculate and a posterior sclerite called submentum (Pregula) is present. Maxillary palps are compact and reduced. The mandibles (574±17µm in Odoiporus longicollis) are relatively large to other mouthparts. Inner margin of mandible is dentate and are attached laterally favoring horizontal movement.
