.."it is still unclear if Leptostylis can be recognized at generic level or if it is better subsumed in Pycnandra" (Swenson et al. (2013)). The formal publication of this sub-family and the required changes in nomenclature at species level have yet to appear. However, Leptostylis appears as a synonym of Pycnandra in Govaerts et al. (2015) and the species of the former are noted as unplaced. Andyboorman (talk) 19:12, 16 February 2015 (UTC)
