- Purpose:
This template is used to indicate to readers that an external link is in a language other than English. The primary purpose of the template is to create a uniform standard for how this data is presented.
- Usage:
Use as {{Languageicon|Language}}, for example {{Languageicon|Spanish}} which renders as: (Spanish)
Several languages can be added, if the linked information is presented in more languages than one. The different languages should be listed in alphabetical order, for example {{Languageicon|Mandarin, Spanish}} which renders as: (Mandarin, Spanish)
The template should generally be preceded by a blank space, and placed directly after the external link.
