What reference are you using for this taxonomy? As far as I know, The sections of Begonia, by J. Doorenbos, M.S.M. Sosef and J.J.F.E. de Wilde, Wageningen Agricultural University Papers 98-2 (1998) is the most recent and widely recognised within the specialty.

The Begoniaceae are of particular interest to me, being a hobbyist interested in growing, identifying and saving species. Recently I became aware of Wikispecies and naturally I headed straight for Begonia. I started here at section Alicida and noted right off that B. manicata (an American species) seemed to be out of place in a section comprising Asian species.

With your approval I could go ahead and edit Begonia sections to agree with the reference cited above.
